Baby Ann. You'd bounce up and down and wave your arms. You did this with joy and playfulness. It was a trademark. Nana named it the Annie Dance.

You commissioned this painting to be full of color and movement, large and modern. I wanted it to be beautiful in your new home and to express the essence of you. Colors and swirls and movement and happiness.

You still dance and sing and wear bright clothes of pattern. You have a signature, a trademark that you came to this world with.

You initiated me and dad as parents. You were Dancing Annie, full of fun, passion - and precocious. We were so proud of you, Ann Pennington Marsh. We have been with YOU, with all of our love, on the ANNIE DANCE!
